Social Security Disability Paralegal

How I help our clients: I am a paralegal for the Social Security and Veteran’s Disability Department of Riddle & Brantley. I help our clients navigate the long and difficult Social Security Disability claims process from initial application stage to the resolution of their claims. This entails filing initial applications, acting as a liaison between the Social Security Administration and clients, filing appeals, and preparing disability claims for hearings.

Background: I am a native of Brazil. I also have an extensive legal background in which I graduated from Universidade Paulista and obtained my Juris Doctorate. I am currently licensed to practice law there. Since coming to the States, I have obtained my paralegal studies certificate from the University of California, Irvine. My passion to work with Social Security Disability Claims began with previous employment in California.

What I like to do in my free time: I enjoy nature and various outdoor activities such as wake surfing, swimming, and camping. I also enjoy watching movies and reading.
