The deceased was a 16-year old driver who was stuck by a commercial tractor-trailer that allegedly failed to stop at a red light. The initial investigation of the accident was not favorable for the plaintiff and liability was denied. Plaintiff’s counsel hired accident reconstruction consultants Reggie Hines and Darren Marceau. According to the plaintiff’s counsel, the accident reconstruction indicated the defendant ran the red light.
Lead attorney Gene Riddle settled the case for $840,000 on June 2006 in Wayne County.
